For importers in the EU

Get actual emissions data from your suppliers in Türkiye, without chasing spreadsheets.

Your suppliers' data, on time and in one place. Calculate your CBAM cost on actual emissions, not default values.

Actual data usually costs you less than default values.

When verified actual emissions are not available, default values apply, increased by a mark-up that rises each year: 10% in 2026, 20% in 2027, 30% from 2028. Getting actual data from your suppliers is usually worth it. The hard part is collecting it: answers come late, in different formats, spread across e-mail threads.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add your supplier.

Company name, contact e-mail and the goods you buy.

  2. 02

    Send the invitation link.

Your supplier receives a secure link by e-mail.

  3. 03

Your supplier enters the data, without an account.

Installation, products and emissions, step by step, then confirms the data is accurate.

  4. 04

The data appears in your panel.

You review it and use it in your preparation.

What you get

  • Complete CBAM data by supplier and installation.
  • The estimated cost difference between actual data and default values.
  • An export package for declaration preparation: PDF, XML, CSV, depending on your plan.

Outputs are reference and preparation documents, not an official CBAM declaration. The declaration is submitted in the CBAM Registry by the authorised CBAM declarant.

For your supplier: no account, no fee.

Your supplier does not sign up, choose a plan or pay. It opens the link, fills in the form and sends the data to you.

Trust and data

Each company's data is kept separate. Critical actions are recorded in an audit trail.

Plans

Choose a plan based on your import operation's scale.

Supplier installations: 9 in total on Starter (up to 3 per invitation, 5 products per installation), 50 on Professional, unlimited on Enterprise.

Frequently asked questions

Does the 50-tonne threshold apply to me?

The threshold is assessed per importer: 50 tonnes of net mass per calendar year, cumulative across iron and steel, aluminium, cement and fertiliser goods. It does not apply to hydrogen or electricity. Below the threshold, no CBAM authorisation is needed.

Who submits the CBAM declaration?

The authorised CBAM declarant: the importer, or an indirect customs representative who lodges the customs declaration. The declaration is annual and due by 30 September of the following year. Your suppliers provide data; they do not submit a declaration.

What if a supplier doesn't respond?

You can send the invitation again from your panel. Where actual data is not available, default values with the annual mark-up can be used. Your panel shows which goods are still on default values.

Can a customs representative use HeroCBAM?

Yes. An indirect customs representative can open an importer account and collect supplier data in the same way. Managing several importers separately within one account is not available yet.
